Born in extreme poverty, being raped by her own brother, getting pregnant at the age of 12 and addicted to drugs and alcohol terribly. Life of Tressa Middleton (21) from Scotland had been very harsh on her since she was a little girl. And after nine long years, Tressa reveals the big secret of her life. Tressa learned to consume alcohol and drugs at an early age. Born to a homeless mother, she was sent in care. After a year, she returned home in Edinburgh when she was 9. That was the time her older brother Jason also came to live with his mother and sister. Due to her alcohol dependency, she was sent back to the care. In 2005, Tressa at the age of 11 returned to her home. That year she collided with a disaster and her life changed, forever. She was raped by Jason, her own brother. She remembers how he took her to a building site and attacked her. Within a minute, everything was different. After a few months of the incident, she noticed her body started to change. One of her friends told her that she might be pregnant. She had a pregnancy test and found herself pregnant. She did not think about terminating the child. After giving birth to a daughter, Tressa eventually gave her daughter for adoption. After a lot of time, she gathered courage to reveal the identity of Annie’s father. Speaking about her heartbreaking ordeal on a television show, Tressa detailed her traumatic days. She also briefed about her new book Tressa: The 12-Year-Old Mum where she poured all the trauma she faced. She has dedicated the book to her daughter Annie. She feels sorry for giving up Annie in care. She says, “I just hope one day she does forgive me.” During the interview, she further says, “I know it’s going to be hard for her when she finds out her uncle is her dad.” She expresses her emotions for her daughter like this - "You are never far from my thoughts. You are the last person I think of when I go to sleep and the first person I think of when I wake up in the morning." We wish Tressa and Annie a happy and prosperous life ahead.
